Our  trip to the orphanage in Mexico stirred our hearts deeply. We knew what to anticipate and the feelings felt prior and during the visit were like hands coming together in prayer. As we entered the baby room, we noticed several cribs lined up against the wall where their precious heads lay down to sleep. What caught my eye was a crippled boy at the age of 15 who had a serious brain surgery and never recovered fully. I was doing range of motion on all his extremities to enhance relaxation of his muscles and increase flexibility.
Another friend that was with us was playing with a little girl who wanted to be held and 5 minutes later fell asleep in her arms. Reason these children are there has a story of its own. We are there to embrace and love God's little children. Our short experience impacted us in a positive way. We're now more determined to spread the news to all who are willing to devote time or resources in aiding to those in need. Reason for this urgent call is to help the innocent children who are looking to us for compassion.
